The Rogues thought they had an easy victory for the taking as the CowBoys lineup featured CP3 AK47 and a bunch of D-League call-ups (Martin, Bell, Battie and that Patrick Mills guy). For the first quarter, it looked as if the easy win was going to happen as the Rogues jumped out to a 36-20 lead after 1 quarter. Then CP3 took over. He scored (29 points), he assisted (16 dimes), and did everything he could to get his D-League buddies easy baskets, and easy baskets they got... many of them were of the dazzling variety. The Rogues, having already given Cloverdale one of its 2 wins this season, got fired up in the 4th, however and rallied to tie and then take the lead down the stretch in this high scoring game. Jason Richardson (20) and Howard (23) led a balanced Rogues attack (6 players with 13+ points) to chalk up only their 3rd win in the very challenging and competitive Jordan division.
