After the blockbuster deal this summer between the Rogues and Yeti this summer, this game had been circled on the calendar here in Richmond. The Rogues fans welcomed back both Dwight and Hakim Warrick to the Olympic Oval. Meanwhile, Horford, and Ibaka were high-fiving their ex-teammates prior to tip-off.
The game was close until near the end of the 3rd Quarter when the Yeti pulled away with a strong run to close out the 4th. Russel Westbrook with 27 and 11 assists was the player of the game. Meanwhile Horford played Dwight pretty much straight up all night. 18 points to 17 for Horford and 13 boards to 8 for Big Al as well.
Final score 112-94 for the Yeti.
