Steals vs Boards

Another exciting game at the Oval in Richmond tonight as Jrue Holiday nailed a 3 with 3 seconds to play to send the game to OT tied at 100. This brought to a close a furious comeback by the Rogues who trailed by as much as 14 earlier on.

The game was full of imbalances. On one hand, the Rogues absolutely owned the glass with Ibaka (19) and Horford (14) having more combined than the entire Royals squad. Overall it was a 57-32 advantage for Richmond in that department. On the otherhand, the Rogues had twice as many TOs- 29 to 15 in this department. The Royals were stealing balls like it was the Stanley Cup Riot all over again. David West, a Power Forward (apparently), must've been channeling his inner Mookie Blaylock as he came up with a ridiculous 7 steals! Note that he only had 67 steals in an entire season in the real NBA last year.

(Rant over) Back to the game, where 'Melo and Curry hit a couple of key buckets in OT to give the Royals a 109-105 victory in a wild and wacky (but entertaining) game.

Curry was the Player of the game with 23 and 10 assists.
