No Deron
Rogues fans in attendance tonight for the last home game of the year all receive discounted season tickets vouchers and they were excited to see Deron Williams (who repeatedly carved up Richmond last season in street clothes for this game. Without Deron, it was mostly Emeka Okafor and Josh Smith battling the Rogues bigs of Horford and Ibaka or Hickson in this low scoring affair. Check out the 2nd quarter where DMD "won" by a margin of 15 to 11. Wow! No wonder they're giving ticket discounts away. Anyway, Okafor had a sick 7 offensive and 15 total rebounds in this game. Smith's 25 countered Horford's 26 and the game came down to the wire where Tolliver (inserted for the his first action of the night in the last minute) ended up having to take the potentially game-tying 3. He missed, but got his own rebound and was fouled where he managed 1/2. The Rogues fouled Dooling who then also made 1/2. Unfortunately there wasn't enough time to get another game tying attempt off as DMD win this one in grind it out fashion without their assist leader by the score of 82-79.
