Dogs in Town
Deadmountain was in town and Richmond was looking to close out this homestand on a high note. Other than some early foul trouble for Horford, that plan was looking good. The Rogues had had a slight lead in the 3rd quarter and were doing it via a balanced scoring attack: Wright, Holiday, Hickson, Ibaka and Horford all scored at least 15 points in the game. Usual bench stand-out George Hill had a stinker though, going 1 for 9. Deadmountain was also getting it done in a balanced manner as all starters were in double figures and all but Gordon had over 20. Down the wire Okafor made a couple of D.Will assisted buckets and a putback to put the "Dawgs" up and the good rebounding and ball protection by Richmond were not enough to overcome them on this night. Final score 116-109 for DMD.
